The other day I read:

“We put no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry…”

Since reading that quote, I’ve spent time thinking about the “obstacles” I put in the way of the people I encounter: My wife, my daughters, friends, co-workers, clients. The simple conclusion is that I’ve been the creator of more obstacles and hurdles than I’d like to admit to, let alone acknowledge. Obstacles that limit the view (theirs and mine) of honesty, genuine and authentic friendships or simply a good day. There is a ton of simple things that I can do (or not do) in my daily interactions that can make things easier for those I’m around.

Take Away: What are the obstacles that you’ve built up and that interfere with your relationships? What are some of the things you can do today to change that?
